LOCATION
Our risk adverse strategy has guided us to spread our production of Sugar Snap Peas and Mangetout (Snow Peas) with production centers throughout different regions in Guatemala. In order to reduce environmental risk (rains, cold currents, etc.) our farms are located at altitudes ranging from 1,700mt to 2,400mt.

TRACEABILITY
Complying with international regulations is a given in Asuncion Export. As a result, we have deployed a very effective traceability system that helps us and our clients easily identify the origin of our Sugar Snap Peas and Snow Peas and its current location at any stage of the process. Further information such as date of planting and harvesting, farmer at charge of the crop, etc. is also provided by this program. This traceability information system is a complement of our traceability system at the packing house.
CERTIFICATIONS
Since 2002 all our farms have been Global GAP/EUREPGAP certified. We are committed to safe and sustainable agricultural practices such as Crop Management, Integrated Pest Control, Quality Management System, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), health & safety procedures, welfare and environmental pollution control.
